I myself got goosebumps when the Big Change came into effect. We need to keep in mind that change is going to take a long time, as the economy improves (We Hope) this will only have an effect on the working class. Our pensioners (Most of them) are beyond that. So nothing is really going to change for them unfortunately, they are still going to need our assistance. We are just really appreciative of the fact that we continue to receive everyone’s support so that we can continue with our mission. The ZPSF would never be able to sustain our regular supply of relief parcels if it were not for donations and support such as yours. And a very BIG AWESOME THANK YOU for everyone’s contributions towards our Christmas trip!!
Our Christmas trip is leaving Malelane on the 28th November, at the warehouse
we are working like crazy to make sure it is going to be pure magic for our
Golden Oldies. It will also be our last one for 2017.
The food hampers serve 2 purposes.
1 They supply much needed food to the pensioner.
2 The pensioner then knows that someone cares about them
We have 544 Boxes adopted to date and 106 to go. As a Fund we rely solely on donations to do what we do. We receive no funding from any Government organization. We managed to get everyone adopted last year so let’s see what we can achieve this year. I have less than a week left to raise funds. For your convenience I have attached a copy of the partial name list of pensioners receiving individual boxes. Then we also have the Frail Care parcels and Kitchen Gifts / Food Aid. Come on guys we can do this, let’s keep the momentum going!! The current value of the Christmas single person parcels will be about R800. Even if a group of friends make a joint donation to adopt a Golden Oldie or just add to the Christmas kitty for those who are not yet adopted. Your support will go a long way to help making them feel very special this Christmas. For a lot of our Golden Oldies this will be the only gift they receive this year for Christmas. For those who would still like to make a donation towards the upcoming trip or sponsor one of the few outstanding boxes please find in good order the various ways to make a donation below.
“Dear Hannes,
A very warm thank you from All our members who receive food parcels from you and your organization of God’s Angels on earth…… We are so blessed to have people like you who care.
Unfortunately our needs are growing and we have to add people to the list all the time as money runs out and the elderly get older and frailer… it is so heart breaking to see these once proud men coming into my office some as old as 85 years old, thin, frail and Very obviously struggling, with their caps in hand asking if we can put them on our list of Job applications so that they can go out and get a job. It is soul destroying. All I can do is add them to my growing list and pray that we can get enough food parcels to go around. At present we are giving out alternative deliveries. So have a list of some this delivery and then the next delivery the next lot get. Not ideal but then we do not live in an ideal world.
We are so terribly grateful for every parcel that makes its way to us, through all trials, borders and other problems.
Please can you accept my heartfelt gratitude for EVERYTHING that you do for our members.
I PRAY that God will bless you all abundantly for the work that you do.
In His name.
Rose”
One of the “Golden Oldies” supported by the ZPSF is Mrs Barkhuizen. She is in her late 70’s, lost her husband a few months ago due to Cancer. She lost her house and now lives in a small flatlet with no electricity. As she is Blind she has very limited resources and no way to make an income.

UNIQUENESS – being one of a kind and knowing that the ZPSF is driven by good
will and very passionate members.
TRANSPARENCY – enforcing the rule that all members must be fully informed
before taking part in this noble venture.
ACCOUNTABILITY – Having a traceable paper trail for every cent handled, and
regular revues conducted.
