Dear Zimbabwe Pensioner Support Fund Supporters and Friends,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a prosperous 2020 from all of us on the ZPSF team and on behalf of our Golden Oldies.
Firstly let me say wow – Can you believe that Hannes has been taking up food to pensioners in Zimbabwe now for 18 years. One man with a dream – Incredible if I must say so. For those who have been supporting us for a long time you have seen the regular trip reports, read all about the challenges, trials and loses we have had. This is not an easy undertaking by any means. But with everyone’s support out there and your continued prayers we are managing to keep doing what we do. As most are aware 2019 was a difficult / emotional year for the fund and our Golden Oldies in Zimbabwe who’s tenacity is once again being tested to the max, but we are still here and on we shall go no matter what.
Please find in good order a quick update on what the fund is currently up to as well as Daniel Koekemoer’s trip report for Christmas 2019. A big Thank You to Daniel for once again being able to come to our rescue. You truly are a life saver.
The office opened on Monday the 13th and the first while has been spent catching up on everything missed during our shutdown. Hannes is currently preparing to leave for the first trip of 2020 and the truck will be departing a few days later. So once again we manage to start a New Year with lots of challenges ahead. This will once again make my job as fund raiser for the Fund a lot more challenging this year. But I am looking forward to it and know and have faith all our supporters of our Golden Oldies will help me meet this challenge. We will still however be packing the boxes in Bulawayo as this just makes the border crossings easier. We are aware of the current shortages and all the help and aid needed and are doing the best we can with what we have. Unfortunately, we can also not put our drivers lives in danger. It breaks our hearts to have to tell people we just cant assist at this stage.
These food hampers serve 2 purposes.
1 They supply much needed food to the pensioner.
2 The pensioner then knows that someone cares about them

As a Fund we rely solely on donations to do what we do. We receive no funding from any Government organization. A huge THANK YOU to all our supporters out there who continue to enable us to keep doing what we are doing. Your support is invaluable to us and we at the ZPSF would never be able to sustain our regular supply of relief parcels if it were not for donations such as yours. You our Donors ensure our wheels keep turning, you are all truly amazing. THANK YOU and God Bless.

Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishment toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results. ~Andrew Carnegie
The 3 most important pillars of our cause:
UNIQUENESS – being one of a kind and knowing that the ZPSF is driven by good will and very passionate members.
TRANSPARENCY – enforcing the rule that all members must be fully informed before taking part in this noble venture.
ACCOUNTABILITY – Having a traceable paper trail for every cent handled, and regular revues conducted.
